Well, the thing is, I am living in Denmark for 4 years ago, and I haven't made any Danish friends yet.
Even some people who have born here, but the parents are from somewhere outside, do not have any Danish friends.
Of course, I have met with locals, or share gatherings in his home or outside, but is because my partner is from here, so he has had his family, and friends since he es a child.
Also, I have been working with local people, but never have built a real friendship with one of them.
So, I decided to ask other immigrants that I know, if they have made any danes friends.
Sadly, in general, none has made any real friendship, or just there are a few lucky ones.
Ok, then the question is: Why are Danish, in general, not open or friendly with people who came from other countries?
I did myself that question, but also I asked some locals why this happen.
The answers were vague from my perspective.
"They do not speak Danish"; "I am born here, I already have my group of friends since I am a child"; "Most of the people from outside are here just for a short time"; "Women from out of Denmark, are so different than women here"...the list of answers is long, but none of them are a good explanation for arriving a good understanding.
It is also rare, that danes is very social when they are in other countries. Where ever they are, suddenly they become wormer, open, and friendly adapted.
Danish, have a close mindset in general. Structure type of mindset, a very programming path of life.
So, even when I do not have the last answer, I have made one probable reason.
This means an improvisation is a bad option for them.
Danish used to arrange a friend meeting, one month in advance, or even longer, and of course, they do not like to make changes in their arranges, under any circumstance, the excuse has to be very strong.
Their flow of social life is moving in the opposite direction of his weather, which is so changeable and unstable.
Also, the religious beliefs create a long distance in some cases, for the minority whose religions are oppressive or not liberal enough to fit, in the protestant group, or even with the big majority of agnostics in the Danish Society.
Language can´t be a good reason. Because it is a lot of immigrants who speak Danish, also, it is a big majority of danes who speaks English at a good level.
Besides this, they are very polite, kind, and human sensible to people from other countries. They love to help people from countries that are at war or have economic problems. They have a strong solidary network that works all around the country. In every neighborhood, you can find shops that are 100% selling that is straight for those most in need.
In my home area, I account for 3, nearly shops that have solidarity as an objective.
Contradictions are part of human nature. Who is not contradictory some time in life? We all are somehow.
For example, in Argentina, we are very open and friendly people in general. Even we have created a day to celebrate the friendship, the 20th of July. But I think is also, because we are a country that is created almost totally by immigrants. Argentina is a nation created by many nations. So, our ancestors didn´t have other options than to open themselves to others and build a network. It is for us a mechanics of survival.
Danish is a nation built by Danish, exclusively.
They even use his flag for big events like birthdays, a birthday without a flag is not a birthday for them.
Today, more and more immigrants live in Denmark for different reasons. Which consequently will provoke changes in society.
The social landscape is progressively changing.
Apart from this, I think that the immigrants we have to continue to try our best in every chance that we could have in the future or present to make danes friends.
Because I presume, that one time this happens, they will be friends forever.
